Description
The Army is conducting market research to identify existing, mature, or near-mature software capabilities that could support or evolve into a unified Virtual Collective Training Software Solution for battalion-and-below training within the Synthetic Training Environment. The solution should be able to drive or integrate with current RVCT hardware and associated virtual training peripherals to deliver a unified virtual training environment. Key areas of interest include current capabilities and product maturity, architecture and integration approaches, scalability and performance considerations, terrain and environment capabilities, data usage and interoperability, cybersecurity and deployment, intellectual property and data rights, and future growth and roadmap.
Some of the key requirements for the solution include:
• The ability to interface with, drive, or integrate alongside current RVCT hardware and associated virtual training peripherals
• Technical maturity with an objective preference for Training Readiness Level (TRL) 8 or near-TRL 8 solutions
• Integration feasibility, scalability, and the vendor’s production and procurement capability to support fielding and sustainment
• The ability to leverage OWT-formatted data and integrate or collaborate with terrain-focused organizations or partners to meet RVCT performance requirements
• Tools or capabilities for user-generated terrain, scenario, or content creation
• Support for data synchronization or federation with external systems
• Cybersecurity frameworks or compliance standards
• Deployment models that can operate within government environments
• Software licensing models and data rights models for government use
