SUNY-Downstate Health Sciences University intends to procure an Ultrasound System from a contract awarded by Vizient pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities/equipment from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price.
