Rocky Ridge Land Lease

The County of Frederick, Maryland is seeking proposals from qualified farming parties to lease and farm the "Rocky Ridge" property. The lease term will be for five years, commencing on or about January 1, 2026. The successful proposer will be required to provide general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, and workers' compensation coverage meeting all statutory requirements of the State of Maryland. • The property is available for farming purposes • The lease term is for five years • The successful proposer must provide required insurance coverage • The County reserves the right to inspect the proposer's equipment and perform investigations to ensure competent personnel and management • The proposer must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to its activities and obligations under the contract
