Description
The State of Alabama Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking bids for the design, installation, and maintenance of Premise Distribution Systems (PDS) for state agencies, political subdivisions, and local government agencies. The contract will cover various types of PDS, including fiber optic and twisted pair systems. Suppliers must provide pricing for all items listed in the Service Catalog Detail Pricing Sheets, which include material and labor costs for different types of PDS installations. The evaluation criteria will be based on the lowest Bid Summary Total. The contract will require suppliers to provide a minimum 10-year warranty for new SCS installations and to have a BICSI-certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) dedicated to the state account.
