Local Physician Services at U.S. Embassy Tallinn

The U.S. Embassy Tallinn is seeking a contractor to provide primary care medical physician services for the Embassy community. The contractor will be required to provide 4 hours of patient appointments per week, perform patient examinations, issue prescriptions, and provide additional services as needed. The contractor must have a medical degree, a current and valid medical license, and be eligible to practice medicine in Estonia. The contract will be for a one-year period with two one-year options. • The contractor will provide primary care medical physician services for the U.S. Embassy Tallinn. • The contractor will have patient appointments every Monday and Thursday from 14:00-16:00. • The contractor will evaluate eligible Embassy community members and determine and recommend appropriate medical treatment. • The contractor will create a medical record documenting all patient encounters and maintain the official clinical record. • The contractor will accept phone calls when they are not at the Embassy from Embassy employees and eligible family members. • The contractor will provide additional services as needed, mostly when the Embassy Nurse is on holiday, away, or on sick leave.
