Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking bids for the broadcast ground herbicide application of approximately 454 acres within Goethe State Forest. The project requires the vendor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The contract period is from the date of execution through September 30, 2026.
Key aspects of the project include:
• The application of herbicides to the designated project area
• The use of equipment acceptable to the Florida Forest Service
• Compliance with all applicable safety requirements and best management practices
• The provision of a minimum of 95% application coverage of the designated project areas
• The tracking of application coverage with GPS
The vendor must have a Florida Department of Agriculture pesticide applicator's license and must show the license to the FFS Project Manager before beginning work.
