Description
The Department of Law Enforcement is seeking bids for the purchase of law enforcement and response vehicles. The vehicles must meet specific requirements, including a 7,000 lb minimum capacity, 4-wheel drive, and a minimum of 300 HP. The vehicles will be used for patrol and response purposes and must be delivered within 7 months of award. The contractor shall provide a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty and a 5-year, 100,000-mile drive train warranty. The contractor shall also provide a fully functional custody transport system, including a front partition, rear partition, and center pull smart belts.
• The vehicles must be white in color and have custom vinyl decals developed and produced using 3M vinyl decals and reflective control tach products.
• The contractor shall install a Whelen C399SH CORE-S with CCTL6 rotary siren/slide switch controller and other equipment, including a Setina PB400 push bumper and a Troy products CC25TH-0912-OS widebody equipment console.
• The contractor shall provide 4 complete sets of keys and a 2.1/2 lb ABC dry chemical fire extinguisher mounted on removable brackets inside the vehicle.
• The vehicles must be delivered to the Sheriff Division Administration at 715 South King Street, Suite 410, Honolulu, HI 96813.
