Replacement of the BAS Supervisory Controller

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking qualified vendors to furnish and install a replacement Building Automation System (BAS) supervisory controller at the Brentwood Rail Yard Facilities. The scope of work includes providing and installing one (1) JACE 9000 supervisory controller with required licensing, removal of the existing controller, and full commissioning and integration into the existing Niagara BAS network. Services shall also include system configuration, training for WMATA personnel, warranty coverage, and delivery of complete as-built drawings and final documentation. • The replacement of the BAS supervisory controller is required because the existing controller has reached manufacturer end-of-support status. • The scope of work includes the removal of the existing controller and the installation of a new JACE 9000 supervisory controller. • The contractor shall provide system configuration, training for WMATA personnel, warranty coverage, and delivery of complete as-built drawings and final documentation. • The project requires the contractor to have experience with BAS systems and Niagara networks.
