Y--Sidney Substation Breaker Replacement

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is seeking a contractor to replace breakers at the Sidney Substation in Nebraska. The project involves demolition and site development, installation of power circuit breakers, and furnishing and installing high voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, and insulated cables. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete the project. The principal components of work include demolition and site development, foundations and platforms for substation electrical equipment, installation of Government-furnished power circuit breakers, and furnishing and installing high voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, insulated cables. The key aspects of this project are: • Demolition and site development • Installation of three Government-furnished power circuit breakers • Installation of three Government-furnished CCVTs and two Government-furnished CCVT support pedestals • Furnishing and installing high voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, insulated cables • The project is expected to be completed within 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
