Automated Ground Filter Unit Tape

The United States Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCK) is procuring 98 rolls of 3M 850 Tape for the Automated Ground Filter Unit (AGFU). The AGFU is a unique ground-based air sampler that supports DOD and other agencies' air sampling requirements worldwide. The tape is a mission-critical item used to complete the air sampling filter paper kits used in the AGFU to collect samples of interest. • The tape must be manufactured according to drawing G1-47-1611-002, Rev H. • The tape is 6-1/2" x 230 yds with 5-1/2" Adhesive Void. • The Deactivation Strip Color is Brown. • QSPAC Industries is the only vendor that has been able to produce a quality product according to the drawing specifications. • The Technical Applications Products Branch has been trying to qualify additional companies for this workload, but they have failed to produce a quality product.
