Description
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking a contractor to provide two rental D-9 or equivalent dozers for one month. The dozers must be capable of pulling a large Ely anchor chain between them and have suitable towing hardware for Ely chain rigging. They must also have fully operational safety systems, including ROPS, seatbelt, lighting, and backup alarm. The equipment must be capable of extended operations in rocky, sandy, and uneven terrain typical of the Arizona Strip. The contractor shall deliver the dozers to two locations, with the first location being approximately 12 miles southeast of Fredonia, AZ, and the second location being approximately 38 miles south of Saint George, UT. The work is expected to take 30 days or less to complete, with delivery and pick-up dates specified.
