RECREATION CENTERATSAYRE MORRIS - Mechanical Contractor

The School District of Philadelphia is soliciting a Mechanical Contractor for the renovation of the Sayre Morris Recreation Center (Level 2 alteration). The contract will cover the installation, repair, and upgrade of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire‑suppression, and related equipment throughout approximately 7,500 SF of alteration space. The project is part of a larger multi‑trade bid package (NG10790‑NG10793) and follows a mandatory site‑visit on May 13, 2026. • Mechanical scope includes new air‑handling units, ductwork, chilled‑water piping, domestic water heating, and fire‑sprinkler system modifications. • Contractor must coordinate with existing architectural, structural, electrical, and specialty consultants (EwingCole, DMA, Convergent Technologies, Aquatic Design Group, etc.). • All work must comply with Philadelphia and Pennsylvania building, mechanical, fire, and energy codes, as well as the International Mechanical Code (2018 edition). • Bids are due by June 11, 2026 (2 PM) with a mandatory walkthrough on May 13, 2026; all other terms remain unchanged per Addendum #2.
