On-call Professional Engineering Services

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide on-call professional engineering and planning services. The selected firms will be called upon to support a wide range of engineering, planning, and technical assignments, including infrastructure improvement initiatives, transportation planning, and technical studies. The contract is expected to be for 3 years, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions. The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time. • The scope of work includes engineering, design, and planning services for infrastructure improvement initiatives • Technical studies and analyses, including corridor evaluations and traffic control planning • Transportation planning analysis, including travel demand modeling and thoroughfare planning • Feasibility studies and preliminary design for federal or state-funded projects • Civil design and preliminary engineering of roadways, sidewalks, and bicycle facilities
