Description
The Van Buren Intermediate School District is seeking bids for the Bert Goens Learning Center Pool Improvements project. The project involves improvements to the pool at the Bert Goens Learning Center, located at 701 S. Paw Paw Street, Lawrence, MI 49064. The work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 1, 2026, at 1:00PM, and bids are due on June 16, 2026, at 3:00PM local standard time. The project is expected to start on July 20, 2026, and be substantially completed by October 19, 2026.
• The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the bid amount and a performance bond covering 100% of the value of the project.
• The project is subject to prevailing wages.
• Bidders must submit a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship with the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District.
• Bidders must also submit an affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
