ALLEY ROADWAY SNOWPLOWING 2025-2026 INITIAL SEASON

The City of Rochester is seeking contractors to provide alley roadway snowplowing services for the 2025-2026 initial season. The contractor will be responsible for plowing City of Rochester's alley roadway routes using a pickup truck with a City-approved Hydroturn plow. The contract will start on October 15, 2025, and run through April 15, 2026, unless extended by the City. The City will guarantee a minimum payment of $5,000 per route to the contractor during this contract if the contractor fully performs the services of this contract as specified. Key points to consider: • The contractor must provide one well-maintained four-wheel drive (4WD) pickup truck with a City-approved Hydroturn plow for each route awarded. • The contractor must supply a qualified operator for each route awarded. • The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the size of the route in centerline miles as shown on each map by up to five percent while still paying the price bid per route. • The City reserves the right to treat each route independently and to order service on one or more routes at any given time. • The contractor must provide evidence of insurance, including Worker's Compensation Insurance, Disability Insurance, Contractor's General Liability Insurance, and Motor Vehicle Insurance. • The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations controlling or limiting their actions during the performance of the work.
