National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Training

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area Office, is seeking information from firms interested in providing National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) Lifestyle Coach Training using the CDC-recognized PreventT2 curriculum. The training will be a 2-day, in-person program for approximately 18 participants. The contractor will be required to provide qualified instructors, training materials, and conduct the training at a location designated by the Navajo Area IHS. • The contractor must have experience delivering CDC-approved PreventT2 or equivalent National DPP curriculum. • The contractor must have a minimum of one year of experience providing diabetes prevention or lifestyle coach training. • The contractor must have certified National DPP Lifestyle Coaches, Master Trainers, or equivalent instructors. • The contractor must have experience providing adult professional education and conducting in-person training. • The contractor must have affiliation with a CDC-recognized National DPP organization. • The contractor must have the ability to issue Certificates of Completion and CEUs when applicable. • The contractor must have experience working with American Indian and Alaska Native communities and be able to deliver culturally responsive training.
