Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a three-year contract to provide labor, materials, and equipment for street cleaning services during parade season. The contract will require the successful bidder to provide three-broom mechanical street sweepers, with a minimum hopper capacity of 4.5 cubic yards, and dual steering or cameras. The bidder must also provide a list of equipment and meet minimum equipment requirements. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option for the parish to cancel the contract at any time with a 30-day written notice. The bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contract will require the successful bidder to provide street cleaning services for parade routes, including roadways, U-turns, turning lanes, parking lots, and gutter bottoms.
• The bidder must provide qualified operators for each street sweeper and ensure that all street sweeping equipment is operational at all times.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, taking into consideration conformity with specifications and delivery and/or completion date.
• The bidder must provide proof of insurance and comply with all insurance requirements.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection.
