6100019399 Affordable Single-Family Housing Development Gap Funding

The City of San Antonio’s Neighborhood and Housing Services Department (NHSD) is seeking proposals from non-profit and for-profit developers to provide gap funding for the development of new construction and/or rehabilitation of affordable single-family homes. The proposed project should provide safe, decent, affordable housing options for sale to lower-income households at 80% or lower of the area median income. The City has allocated up to $2,266,843 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for these activities. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing affordable housing options for lower-income households • Developing new construction and/or rehabilitation of single-family homes • Securing site control and conditionally securing all other funding sources • Meeting the City’s requirements for affordable housing development • Participating in a pre-submittal conference (optional but highly encouraged) • Submitting written questions and proposals through the SAePS portal
