Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division seeks a sole‑source contractor (RENK AG) to provide lifecycle, modernization, and in‑service engineering support for several RENK reduction‑gear models (BUSL 261, ASL 2/160, BOS 156, ASL 95) and associated shipboard auxiliary systems. Work includes technical analysis, logistics, training, administrative and program‑management tasks, as well as design, construction, installation, service, repair, and parts replacement for the gearboxes. The effort will be structured as a 10‑year Cost‑Plus‑Fixed‑Fee Indefinite‑Delivery‑Indefinite‑Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one‑year base period and nine one‑year options, awarded without full and open competition because only RENK possesses the required proprietary knowledge.
