Description
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB intends to award a sole source contract to SmartShooter Inc. for the procurement of six Smart Shooter SMASH 2000L fire control optics and one comprehensive spare parts and field maintenance package. The purpose of this requirement is to provide dismounted security forces with lightweight, computerized, AI-driven fire control optics capable of automated target tracking and kinetic defeat of Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) to defend critical base infrastructure.
