Description
The City of Salina is seeking contractors to paint the North Ohio Overpass. The work includes surface preparation and application of a specified Tnemec concrete coating system on the bridge deck, painting of light‑fixture housings, and limited surface preparation of bridge fencing. Coordination with Union Pacific and Kansas & Oklahoma railroads is required, including provision of flagging services for train movements. No painting or cleaning of the underside of railroad rails is required.
• Apply Tnemec Series 151‑1051 Elasto‑Grip FC primer and Series 156 Enviro‑Crete intermediate and finish coats per revised specifications.
• Paint housings for streetlights, pedestrian lights, and fence lights on the overpass.
• Perform surface preparation of woven‑wire mesh bridge fencing (no full sandblasting).
• Provide flagging services for UP Railroad (≈ $1,500/day) and coordinate with K&O railroad; no flagging contractor mandated.
