The City of Salina is seeking contractors to paint the North Ohio Overpass, applying a specified Tnemec concrete coating system and painting associated lighting fixtures. The scope excludes sandblasting of bridge‑fencing wire mesh and any work on the underside of railroad rails. Flagging services for Union Pacific and Kansas & Oklahoma railroads are required, with two approved flagging contractors identified for the Union Pacific portion. • Paint concrete surfaces of the overpass using Tnemec Series 151‑1051 Elasto‑Grip FC (prime) and Series 156 Enviro‑Crete (intermediate & finish). • Paint streetlight, pedestrian‑light, and fence‑light housings. • Provide flagging for railroad traffic (UPRR – 2 trains/day; K & O – 6‑8 trains/day) using approved third‑party flaggers (NRSS or RailPros) at an estimated $1,500 per day. • No requirement to sandblast/fully remove rust from woven wire mesh or to paint the underside of rail attachments.
