The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive painting and concrete coating of the North Ohio Overpass. The work includes applying a Tnemec‑based coating system to concrete elements, painting steel components and lighting fixtures, and providing rail‑traffic flagging services. The scope specifically excludes painting the underside of the railroad rail and does not require full sandblasting of wire‑mesh fencing rust. Addenda have clarified surface‑preparation requirements and updated the concrete coating specifications.
• Apply Tnemec Series 151‑1051 Elasto‑Grip FC primer, followed by two coats of Tnemec Series 156 Enviro‑Crete on concrete surfaces.
• Paint all steel structural members, street‑light housings, pedestrian‑light housings, and fence‑light housings.
• Coordinate and fund flagging services for Union Pacific (≈2 trains/day) and Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad (≈6‑8 trains/day) traffic.
• Follow revised fencing surface‑prep spec (no full rust‑removal sandblasting required).
• Comply with all city, railroad, and safety requirements while maintaining uninterrupted rail operations.
