Description
The College seeks a qualified general contractor to replace three existing walk‑in cooler/freezer units with new NSF‑approved modular flooring systems. The work includes demolition of existing flooring, site preparation, installation of wood‑frame modular floor panels with polyurethane insulation and aluminum tread‑plate, sealing, and restoration of interior trim. The contractor must provide required bonds, insurance, and warranties, and must attend a mandatory pre‑bid/site‑visit meeting.
• Install three drop‑in modular floor units (bakery cooler, bakery freezer, culinary cooler) meeting NSF and U.S.A.‑made specifications.
• Perform full demolition, concrete preparation, modular floor installation, sealing, and reinstatement of trims and thresholds.
• Supply all permits, safety plans, 5 % bid bond (if > $50 k), 100 % performance/payment bonds, and maintain a 12‑month warranty.
