B026-33R Hubbard Park Pool Filtration System Refurbishment

The City of Meriden's Parks & Recreation Department is soliciting bids to refurbish the Pool Filtration System for the community pool located in Meriden's Hubbard Park. The project includes pressure testing, removing the existing filter system, and installing a new main drain system, pump, and high-pressure sand filters. The new system must meet State of CT DPH Code and Regulations, and bidders must submit a list of similar projects completed in the last five years and have the required licenses. The project is expected to be completed within 120 days. • The project requires a lump sum bid for the complete scope of work. • Bidders must submit a Non-Collusive Statement/Affidavit, Request for Status as a Meriden Based Business, Bidder's Qualification Statement, and Bid Bond. • The City of Meriden reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the bidder that best meets the specifications and is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. • The contract will not be awarded to any corporation, firm, or individual that is in arrears to the City of Meriden by debt or contract, or who is in default as security or otherwise by any obligation to the City of Meriden.
