The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a seismic retrofit of three highway bridges (Waiale Gulch, Alae Gulch, and Pulehu Gulch) on the Haleakala Highway (Route 377) in Maui. The work includes debris removal, carbon‑fiber wrapping of piers, back‑fill replacement with controlled low‑strength material, creep‑block replacement, pier footing upgrades, pavement installation, scour countermeasures, and traffic control.
