BID 26-35 Bridge Viaduct Artistic Lighting Installation

The City of Evanston is seeking a qualified contractor to install artistic lighting and associated electrical fixtures on six bridge viaducts (five city‑owned Metra bridges and one CTA‑owned bridge). The scope includes providing all lighting hardware, wiring, standard and custom mounting, and control equipment, while connecting to existing power sources. Work is funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) monies and must be completed by December 31 2026. The contractor must be registered in SAM.gov and submit an electronic bid via DemandStar. • Install lighting fixtures and control systems on six bridge locations (Church, Davis, Dempster, Main, Howard streets). • Supply all electrical equipment, wiring, and mounting hardware (standard and custom). • Complete installation and testing before the Dec 31 2026 deadline, using ARPA funding.
