Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard is seeking information from qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes to derive a contract vehicle that will provide contractor support for rental space for the NNSY Career Fair. The career fair will be held on multiple dates and locations, and the contractor will be responsible for providing a venue that can accommodate a minimum of 700 people. The contractor will also be required to provide various equipment and services, including tables, chairs, linens, and audio-visual equipment. The contractor must also ensure that the venue has convenient bathroom facilities, high-speed wireless internet, and personnel to maintain the facility operations during the career fair. Some of the key requirements include:
• Providing a venue with a minimum of 12,000 square feet
• Ensuring that the venue has convenient bathroom facilities
• Providing high-speed wireless internet for a minimum of 40 laptops
• Ensuring that the venue has personnel to maintain the facility operations during the career fair
• Providing two security guards from 0800 until all NNSY staff have secured the event
• Providing two personnel to help with moving applicants through the lines
• Conducting an assessment and submitting an Emergency Action Plan to NNSY two weeks in advance of the career fair
• Ensuring that the collection site/restroom for pre-employment drug testing meets specific requirements.
