Pump Repair Services

The City of Mountain View is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Electric Motor and Submersible Pump Repair Services on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for an initial term of 19 months, with the option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms. The contractor must have a valid C-61/D21—Machinery and Pump license and meet at least 80% of the requirements listed in the questionnaire. The bid will be awarded based on in-house repair straight-time labor rates. • The contractor must provide a written request for price adjustment at least 30 days prior to the start of any renewal term. • The contractor must have the capacity to repair all sizes of pumps and motors. • The contractor must be able to disassemble on-site for repairs. • The contractor must be able to provide crane and truck when necessary. • The contractor must be able to provide electrical repair on motors from 10 hp to 250 hp. • The contractor must be able to provide on-site metal fabrication. • The contractor must be a manufacturer-authorized repair facility. • The contractor must be able to provide on-site laser alignment. • The contractor must be able to provide welding/brazing on-site. • The contractor must have 24-hour emergency response available. • The contractor must be able to provide all labor and tools necessary. • The contractor must be able to provide sales and consultation on new pumps. • The contractor must be able to provide design and engineering services. • The contractor must be qualified for confined space work. • The contractor's work must be guaranteed for at least one year.
