Description
The Westmoreland County is seeking bids for random employee drug testing services for the Prison, Sheriff's Office, Park Police, and Juvenile and Adult Probation Departments. The successful bidder will be required to provide oral fluid collection and testing, as well as optional blood, urine, and breath alcohol testing. The bidder must also provide a Medical Review Officer and maintain documentation of the random selection process. The contract term is from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms.
• The bidder must have experience in substance abuse and drug testing.
• The bidder must provide a certified Corporate Drug Testing Trainer.
• The bidder must adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA.
• The bidder must provide sufficient testing devices to meet the current and future needs of the County.
• The bidder must respond to any and all County inquiries and answer any said questions from County officials within 24 hours.
