"Margerie Water Treatment Plant Fuel Tank System Replacement”

The City of Danbury is seeking bids for the replacement of the fuel tank system at the Margerie Water Treatment Plant. The project includes all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the replacement. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection will be held on February 17, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. The last day for questions will be February 23, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. The bid due date is March 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM. • The project includes the replacement of the fuel tank system at the Margerie Water Treatment Plant. • A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. • A performance, labor, and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. • The City of Danbury is an equal opportunity and affirmative action purchaser. • Bids from all vendors, including those from MBE’s, WBE’s, SBE’s, and Section 3 Designated Enterprises are encouraged to apply.
