Shared Services and Telehealth Mental Health

The New York State Office of Children & Family Services is seeking to provide shared services and telehealth mental health benefits to early childhood education providers. The goal is to support the birth to five early care and education workforce through activities such as expanding workforce opportunities, increasing access to benefits, and supporting improved compensation for ECE providers. The selected vendor will work with the New York Association for the Education of Young Children (NYAEYC) to increase access to workforce benefits by leveraging and expanding membership in the New York Early Learning Alliance (NYELA). The NYELA is a shared services alliance that provides management tools, implementation and sustainability coaching, and employee benefits to childcare centers across New York State. Some key aspects of this opportunity include: • Expanding workforce opportunities and career pathway programs for ECE providers • Increasing access to benefits such as telehealth mental health services • Supporting improved compensation for ECE providers • Providing management tools and implementation and sustainability coaching to childcare centers • Collecting and using data on business metrics to inform policy and systems change efforts
