The City of Springfield, Ohio is seeking a qualified contractor to provide seasonal collection and disposal of bagged leaves from residential curbside locations on two non‑consecutive Saturdays in November and December 2026. The contractor must be a licensed refuse hauler, supply appropriate trucks and personnel, and transport the collected leaf bags to an EPA‑approved compost or incineration facility, complying with all specifications and reporting requirements.
• Service window: two Saturdays (approximately 21 Nov 2026 and 5 Dec 2026), 6 a.m.–6 p.m. each day.
• Scope: pick‑up of bagged leaves from ~23,000 residential properties, transportation, disposal, and post‑completion reporting.
• Requirements: licensed refuse hauler, bid bond (5 % of bid), workers’ comp, commercial general liability & auto liability insurance, digital ID for electronic submission, and completion of a detailed questionnaire.
