WATER/SEWER LEAK REPAIRS FOR UTILITY OPERATIONS

The City of Port Arthur is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on-demand responses to repair water/sewer leaks or install water/sewer taps, pipes, manholes, and appurtenances for the City of Port Arthur Water Utility department. The contractor will be expected to have personnel and equipment available for repairs when required, and maintain an emergency "on-call" number to answer all calls placed after normal working hours. The contractor will be responsible for performing all work competently and professionally, and any damage to a City building or facility must be repaired fully and completely at the Contractor's cost. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing on-demand responses to repair water/sewer leaks * Installing water/sewer taps, pipes, manholes, and appurtenances * Maintaining an emergency "on-call" number * Performing all work competently and professionally * Repairing any damage to City buildings or facilities at the Contractor's cost The City will issue a work order and scope of work for each job, and the contractor will be billed separately for each job, including required replacement material invoices.
