Re-Bid of On-Call Dancing Fountain Renovations and Maintenance

The City of Winchester is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to modernize and improve the performance, safety, and visual quality of the Winchester Dancing Fountain. The project includes replacing outdated jet and lighting assemblies, installing new electrical wiring, and implementing a modern control panel. The contract term is for five years, with the option to renew for two 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance work on an as-needed basis. • The project requires the replacement of 30 jet light assemblies with new, energy-efficient LED jet light assemblies. • The installation of new electrical wiring to support the jet light assemblies, including removal of outdated or non-compliant wiring. • The removal of the existing control panel and installation of a new, weatherproof control panel. • The supply and installation of three new Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to control existing pumps and motors.
