Description
The City of Atlanta is seeking a qualified contractor to coordinate workforce development services among One-Stop partners and service providers in accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requirements. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of services, designing and implementing a strategy for integration, fostering partnerships, and ensuring compliance with ADA guidelines and priority of service for qualifying veterans. The contractor will also be responsible for staffing the One-Stop Center reception desk, providing initial needs assessment screening, and assigning customers to the most appropriate onsite partner.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Coordinating the delivery of services among One-Stop partners and service providers
• Designing and implementing a strategy for integration of partners' staff and processes
• Fostering partnerships within the Center to promote function as a multi-agency team
• Ensuring compliance with ADA guidelines and priority of service for qualifying veterans
• Staffing the One-Stop Center reception desk and providing initial needs assessment screening
