Third Party Administrator Audit Services

The Maryland Transit Administration is seeking a third-party administrator to provide audit services for their healthcare invoices. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting audits, investigations, and special reviews to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the agency's healthcare plan invoices. The contractor will also provide internal audit services to assist the MTA's Human Resources Benefits Department in accomplishing their objectives. Some key requirements of the contract include: • Conducting audits of administrative/operational procedures • Auditing claims for accuracy and compliance with plan design • Reviewing internal audits conducted by vendor contractors • Preparing draft and final audit reports • Providing monthly reports to the contract manager The contract term will be for three years with an eight-month renewal option, and the contractor will be required to provide a detailed work plan and staffing plan as part of their proposal.
