Compact Excavator Procurement

The City of Jackson intends to award a single contract to the lowest-priced, responsible bidder whose equipment is determined to meet or exceed the specifications and evaluation criteria set forth in this bid package. Key points to consider: • The compact excavator must have a minimum 55 HP turbocharged Tier 4 compliant diesel engine. • The excavator must have automatic idle, two-speed travel with automatic shifting, and conventional tail swing. • The excavator must have rubber tracks, long arm or extendable arm, dozer blade with float, lift point, and add-on counterweight. • The excavator must have a standard warranty of at least 2 years or 2,000 hours. • The bid package must include a completed specification response form, detailed product specifications and brochures, estimated delivery time, full warranty information, and description of annual service costs and service arrangements.
