Description
The Chickasawhay Natural Gas District is seeking a qualified contractor to design and construct approximately 5.33 miles of new 10‑inch HDPE high‑pressure gas main, including all connections, appurtenances, and necessary road crossings in Wayne County, Mississippi. The work must comply with the district’s specifications and drawings, and the contractor must provide both bid and performance bonds. Bids are due September 14, 2026 at the district’s Waynesboro office; electronic submissions are possible by contacting the Engineer of Record. Disadvantaged and women‑owned businesses are encouraged to participate.
• Scope: Installation of 5.33 mi of 10″ HDPE gas main across US Hwy 84, US Hwy 45, MS Hwy 145, and county roads.
