Description
The City of Chicago is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive beekeeping services under a 36‑month Small‑Order Blanket contract. The work includes routine hive maintenance, hive relocation, honey harvesting and jarring, provision of glass jars, and supply of replacement bees and related beekeeping consumables using a catalog pricing reference. The contractor must hold a master beekeeper certification, maintain appropriate insurance, file an Economic Disclosure Statement, and adhere to monthly reporting and annual diversity reporting requirements.
• Perform estimated 37 hive‑maintenance visits per year (daily flat‑rate pricing).
• Relocate hives as needed (flat‑rate per hive) and harvest/jar approximately 125 lb of honey annually (flat‑rate annual pricing).
• Supply required glass jars and replacement bees/queen stock, using catalog pricing with a bidder‑determined markup/discount.
• Meet all mandatory certifications (EDS, COI, master beekeeper) and submit detailed price schedule via the iSupplier portal by the August 13, 2026 deadline.
