Downtown Sewer and Paving

The City of Covington is seeking a qualified contractor to complete a comprehensive downtown sewer rehabilitation and roadway resurfacing project (Project No. S0072). The work includes point repairs, lateral and main pipe lining, and full mill‑and‑overlay of asphalt, along with associated civil works. The contract requires a Louisiana contractor’s license in Highway, Street and Bridge Construction and Municipal/Public Works Construction, and a bid bond of at least 5 % of the total bid. • Sewer rehabilitation: point repairs, lateral lining, main line lining, and related utilities. • Asphalt work: mill and overlay of existing roadways, pavement patches, and ancillary paving. • Required licensure: Louisiana Highway, Street & Bridge Construction and Municipal/Public Works. • Bid security: 5 % bid bond or certified/cashier’s check. • Mandatory submission: sealed bids due July 30, 2026, 2 PM at City Hall and online via Central Bidding.
