Description
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Mobile, AL is seeking a contractor to provide landscape services, including lawn care, mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and weed control. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds of the NWS office, including lawns, native grass areas, gravel, plant beds, parking lots, walkways, driveways, and curbs. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, herbicides, transportation, and other services necessary to maintain the landscaping and grounds in a neat and well-maintained appearance.
• The contract will be for a base period of approximately 12 months, with four option periods of 12 months each.
• The contractor must provide environmentally friendly products and services.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable municipal, state, and federal regulations.
• The contractor must provide certification or license for any employees handling pesticides.
• The contractor must maintain a neat and well-maintained appearance of all plants, shrubs, and trees.
• The contractor must keep all lawns, shrub beds, ground-cover beds, flower beds, graveled areas, and adjacent areas free of weeds.
