Description
The Town of Braintree is soliciting bids for the furnishing and planting of approximately 30 new trees of varying species and related work at various locations within the town. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the payment of Prevailing Wage Rates and provide a 5% bid deposit. The contract will be for a one-year period with the option for two additional annual extensions. The work will include tree planting, maintenance, and watering, and the contractor must have experience in municipal tree planting and access to a water truck with a minimum capacity of 500 gallons.
• The contractor must provide a list of at least three references with similar contract interests.
• The contractor must have a certified Arborist with at least 10 years of experience in municipal tree planting.
• The contractor must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the award of subcontracts.
• The contractor must provide a Work Plan indicating the location of the nursery, date of tree selection, and estimated time of completion.
