The New Mexico State University Procurement Services is seeking a sole source provider for a laboratory equipment to be used in the distillation of oilfield produced water and gathering of vapor-liquid equilibrium data. The equipment is required to develop an optimized thermal desalination and treatment system for oilfield produced water. The procurement is exempt from competition due to the unique design and performance specifications of the equipment. • The equipment must be able to generate vapor-liquid equilibrium data for oilfield produced water. • The equipment must be able to evaluate treatment options for the produced water. • The equipment must be compatible with existing hardware and software. The university reserves the right to judge the equivalence of any alternative proposals. Challenges to the sole source procurement must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of the posting date.
