66--Xylem SonTek RS5 and Surfbee Flow Scout flow measurement system

The US Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate a purchase order on a sole source basis with Xylem, Inc. for a Xylem SonTek RS5 and Surfbee Flow Scout flow measurement system. The system includes a Surfbee Flow Seeker, inflatable hull, pump, patch kit, thrusters, handheld remote tablet, and ASV controller. The RS5 is a portable five-beam 3.0 MHz acoustic Doppler current profiling/discharge measurement system. * The system is intended for use from moving boats and other platforms in shallow channels. * The system includes a 2-inch diameter Delrin housing, 3.0 MHz velocity measurement transducers, compass/2-axis tilt sensor, temperature sensor, internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery, and Bluetooth telemetry link. * The system features bottom tracking, RSQ Windows software for real-time display of current profiles, water depth, and computed discharge measurements. * Firms believing they can provide the items above must submit written notice to the Contracting Officer and provide evidence to demonstrate their ability to meet the stated requirement.
