Fairington Road Sidewalk Project

The City of Stonecrest is seeking qualified and experienced bidders to respond to a fixed (one-time) project for the construction of sidewalks on Fairington Road. The project includes the construction of a section of sidewalk at a single location within the limits of the City of Stonecrest, Georgia. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, personnel, tools, supervision, transportation, machinery, and other incidentals necessary to perform the work requested herein and typical of these types of projects. Key responsibilities include: • Constructing a +/- 2,286 LF 5 ft. wide and 4 in. thick sidewalk on the south side of Fairington Road • Installing storm drainage and maintaining storm drain inlet and outlet protection measures • Implementing erosion control measures and maintaining sediment and erosion control features throughout the life of the project • Restoring all trees, shrubbery, and sodding if all areas disturbed while performing the work • Providing a detailed bi-weekly work plan of project activities • Obtaining all required state, federal, and local permits and licenses • Maintaining insurance coverage as specified in the contract The bid price should include all costs associated with the project, including labor, materials, equipment, and permits. The City of Stonecrest will provide a GDOT Encroachment Permit, and the Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all other necessary permits and licenses.
