2026-2031 Residential Materials Management Agreement

The City of Holland is seeking a contractor to provide residential curbside solid waste, recycling, and optional yard waste services for a term of five years, with an option to renew for an additional three years. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of residential rubbish, refuse, garbage, and yard waste, as well as collecting, transporting, and delivering recyclable materials. The contractor will also be required to provide education and evaluation support to the community. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who best meets the needs of the City. • The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The contractor will be required to submit a bid deposit in the amount of 10% of the first year contract amount. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage, including worker's compensation, comprehensive automobile liability, and commercial general liability. • The contractor will be required to provide a standby letter of credit in the amount of $350,000.00 for the five-year term of the agreement.
