Description
Wayne State University is seeking a modern, cloud‑hosted Integrated Library System (ILS) to replace its current Sierra platform and support all library functions across the campus. The vendor must deliver a complete solution that includes software licensing, implementation, data migration, training, ongoing support, and compliance with accessibility, security, and privacy standards.
• Full‑scale ILS covering discovery, acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, resource sharing, course reserves, ERM, and digital collections.
• Integration with Banner, Single Sign‑On, Canvas LMS, Springshare, CONTENTdm, ArchivesSpace, and other campus systems via open APIs.
• Migration of > 4 million bibliographic, patron, and transactional records and provision of sandbox/testing environments.
• Mandatory WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508 accessibility compliance, VPAT, and a multi‑year licensing/maintenance model.
• Required insurance coverage, adherence to WSU wage‑rate policies, and full documentation (cost schedule, detailed questionnaire, service plan).
