The National Park Service (NPS) Alaska Region requires contractor support to develop and produce a standardized training product that enhances preparedness and response capabilities during marine oil spill incidents. The contractor will develop a training tool that enables NPS staff to understand and execute early-stage communication actions during a marine spill, identify roles and responsibilities within NPS and partner agencies, access user-friendly resources, and build regional capacity through a standardized training tool. The scope of work includes tasks such as project management, preliminary storyboard development, script/narrative development, and coordinate partner review.
Some key points to consider:
• The contractor will work closely with NPS park personnel to develop a video outline storyboard and a complimentary narrative.
• The contractor will identify and consolidate specific publicly available videos and images that meet usage requirements.
• The contractor will provide monthly status reports and participate in monthly conference calls with the NPS Contracting Officer's Representative.
• The contractor will ensure that all submittals are complete, internally consistent, technically accurate, and in compliance with accepted industry practices.
