Equestrian Tank Rehabilitation Project Design

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking proposals for engineering design and construction support services for the Equestrian Tank Rehabilitation Project. The project involves repairing structural elements, updating site security measures, seismic retrofitting, and ancillary improvements. The selected consultant will be expected to perform their own investigations and determine additional repairs or retrofitting necessary for the rehabilitation project. The scope of work includes reviewing available materials, preparing plans and specifications for construction, and providing opinion of probable construction costs. The consultant will also be responsible for bidding and construction support services, including attending pre-bid conferences, responding to questions, and preparing addenda. • The project requires a minimum of $1 million professional liability insurance. • The project manager should have at least 5 years of experience in the assessment, design, and construction of potable water steel tanks. • The consultant should have experience in design and construction management related to rehabilitation and coating of potable water tanks. • The consultant should provide a comprehensive and understandable scope of work. • The consultant should have expertise in the field of potable water tank design and rehabilitation.
